Disney and Sky are in negotiations to launch ESPN Classic Sport in the UK, according to Broadcast.
The channel, which would be available on Sky Digital, broadcasts archived footage of past sporting events. Originally from the US, the station launched in several European countries in 2002 with a view to expanding to the UK at a later date.
ESPN is 80% owned by Disney subsiduary ABC and 20% by the Hearst Corporation.
