signal problem on kryptview

Just got my box yestrday, working fine. put it on standby at night. woke up this morning, and all the channels were coming up choppy. Deleted all channels and tried a rescan, and the signal Quality was 99 and the strength only at 48. Took my splitter off, did a direct connection and i got 54. but still the channels are choppy. my samsung is running fine upstairs
anyone have any ideas what it could be?

I'd guess that you have a marginal/weak signal level. Believe it or not cold & Frost can significantly decrease the signal level you get.

Its also possible you have a box with a weak tuner

it is quite frosty outside my house as well. ill try taking the box to another place and try it there.

same problem at my friends house who lives opposite. However the strength comes up as 60

There seems to be some signal strength issues on the network it may be down to that. I would let it run for few hours and see how it works. Is it happing on all channels or just few.
