shearer stays on

alan shearer has decided to stay on at newcastle for one more season as player/coach.
as a toon fan i'm both happy and sad
happy because he does have an influence both on and off the pitch, lets face it most defenders hate playing against him because he gives as good as he gets.

i'm sad on two points
1) he's the only striker we have at the minute.
bellamy was kicked out the club for shouting his mouth off.
kleivert is taking the mickey on the pitch and our money off the pitch.
ameobi is a clown who does not know what he is doing.

2) shearers legs have gone and it would be a sad end to a great career, if it was found that he could not keep up with the pace of the premiership, and was seen to carried by the rest of the team.
