I'm not quite sure what you mean? There is only one type of scart. A fully connected scart lead has all the connections for audio/video in and out.

Wether you can record via the scart depends on the PVR. I dont have much experience but the Sony freeveiw DVD/PVR I used a few years back did let you do this.

heres a better one m8, its what i use to connect 2 satellite recievers, an xbox and a dvd recorder all to a tv with only one scart socket, and i can record from any one while aslo watching any one

as for being able to record onto your freeview pvr i doubt it as most of these record from the internal tuner and not an external source, but i may be wrong. do you have a link for it?
