If anyone knows I imagine it's you guys. I have a Scan DVD player & want to remove macrovision. Can anyone help?

Open Tray.
Enter:0106 on the Remote Control.
Enter:Region Number on the Remote Control.
(1=Region 1,2=Region 2,0=Multi-region none RCE etc ).
OK will now appear on screen.

Please ensure you key in all the above numbers.

The SC2500 DVD will now play ***les from the selected region. If you see the message Region then you have selected the wrong region number. Remeber you can set regions manually,follow the same steps as above,entering the required region. This is required with disks using the RCE protection system.

For none RCE disks use 0 for the region number,you will now only have to change this for RCE didks.

Thanks for the help. Still have macrovision though (unfortunately). Never mind. Wanted to save £30 on another cable (& presumably more signal loss) but looks like a no go.
