samsung tv help wont turn on

the inverter board seems to cause the most problems on lcd tv. follow the wires that run from the power supply until you find them connected to a little rectangular board. on the board there is a tiny fuse (component), next to it it should say something like F1. if you have a multimeter measure across the component and see if you get 0 ohms. if you dont get a reading the fuse has gone. normally the fuse is about 4 amps. it is impossible to get a replacement. so you can solder a piece of 5 amp fuse wire across the pads. its done the trick for me many a time.

all can get it to do now is one beep of the power button but red and yellow are lit up and no we dont have a multimeter

Probably a shot in the dark but have you tried using the remote to get it out of standby, and also check the batteries in the remote are good?

yeah tried that and i no the remote working the yellow light flickers
