Samsung Tablet To Non Smart TV Streaming

Hi
I would like to stream video and jpeg photos from my recently purchased Samsung Galaxy 8.0” TAB S2 (SM-T710) to my Sony (Non Smart ) HDTV .
I previously had a Kindle FireHD, and just connected the TV using a HDMI Cable, but the Samsung only has a Micro USB socket, and so far, all the adaptors I have tried do not appear to work with the SM-T710.
I have been told that the only way I can connect the Samsung is by using Video streaming .
Can any knowledgeable guy provide me with step by step instructions to achieve this aim, or suggest any alternative method of connecting the two together

You can only stream if device is a also internet enabled so you will need to get another bit of kit connected to your tv so you can connect your tab to that bit of kit so maybe something like a chromecast or similar device would do you fine for a minimum cost..
