Casting to tv/phone etc

I tried several times today to cast from the lads Quest 2 , with no results, both to my smart tv and the lads phone. On the phone(Samsung S8 i think) it said it was casting and the (Stop casting) button was showing. Now i can cast just about anything from pc and phone fire stick etc to my 4k LG Tv,why cant i cast from Oculus to tv..?

I know FA about this, but I seem to remember reading something about the devices need to be on the same frequency - Ghz like 2.4 or 5 Ghz or something very similar.

Not sure about the TV but I'm sure I've casted to the phone via Bluetooth and the Oculus apk.

Just casted to PC (had to login to Oculus on browser.

Got it on Shield had a bit of trouble. Used the phone app to pair it.

You may need to disable IPv6 on the TV?

I think you can do this on a firestick, but i've not tried what it is like yet. Using an app called AirScreen
