Run access is disabled by admin, workaround needed

Hey Guys

I work in a big company as IT support but due to all the red tape the desktops are pretty locked down. I would like a way to access the run box to make life easier for myself when working, im unable to install software so the run lite program is not an option.

I have access to command prompt is there a way to get run ?

What are you trying to run?

If you already have access to the command prompt then you have everything you need, all the "run" box does is give you a pretty GUI.

What happens if you type notepad @ root in the command window?

nothing at all it wont run at all its a pain in the ass

All of these should just run from the CLI.

There is nothing special, unless they have specific group policies in place to prevent you running executables
