i have been coping some cd's and as i went to do some today my comp restarts itself i use adaptec 4 it copies 2 songs sometimes gets to the third then comp just restsrts has anyone got any idea why this happens cheers for any help

I have used adaptec in the past and will no longer use it, I would end up wasting more cd's than I copied.
I had the same problem as you boxerdogs getting through a couple of songs then it would stop on errors, it's because it doesn't use or hardly uses buffer rates and nero does hence it's a lot better.<br />i've had no probs with nero yet, 3 months going strong. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Are you copying on the fly ? If both drives are connected via the same lead then i believe this causes a problem.
Dobsoneo what is wrong with your member rating ? All I can see is as lot or pap and then PIssed Artist ?

i have a cd full of mp3 i decode it to hard drive then copy it to a cd usind adaptect all was working but now it restarts my comp i have clone on my comp but it still normaly works were can i download a copy of nero please cheers for any help
