REQ: mp4 file repair software

Has anyone got any decent mp4 file repair SW for windows ? I've tried VLC no joy, I did have some but cant find it, thanks

What issue are you trying to fix?

ffmpeg is what i use.

here is the command to use.
ffmpeg -err_detect ignore_err -i input.mp4 -c copy output.mp4

What did they say issue was when they asked you to fix it?

I tried to open it and auto fix with VLC it just doesn't play. I tried the free version wondershare repairit online it just said severely damaged try repairtit desktop

Video res missing
Video duration missing

That's using the online version wondershare
I didn't use ffmpeg as I wasn't sure what I was doing

Tbh I think their knackered. I'd bet its the SD card in my phone that's the issue and caused the original problem

Re encoding with Handbrake might fix it for you
