When replying to e-mails the messages sit in the outbox, the workaround it to copy and paste into a new mail and then send.

Any ideas was may be causing this.

Thanks in advance.

So when you reply and hit send the message goes into outbox and just sits there ?

What happens if you click send/receive ? This should send messaages in outbox.

Check your Outlook Account?

Go to tools, Accounts, check the Account name is correct, Type is- mail, Connection- Any Available.
Highlight the Account name then go into Properties.
Go to Servers
Incoming mail server is POP3 server
Incoming mail (POP3) - pop.??????.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) - smtp.?????.com

Incoming mail server is the (Account name) and the password is correct.(Tick remember password)

Connection should always be Local Area Network.

The messages will sit there in outlook outbox until a call to send or recieve is sent to outlook. Go to the mail setup tab and check the send and recieve immediately box to send & receive your mails immeadiately.

If it was a failure due to incorrect setup of accounts you would get a message failure error message.

Is this a hotmail account. It seems that a lot of people are having same problem.

One suggestion is to try reinstall and see if that helps
