CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO OBTAIN THE REMOTE UPDATE CODES? I KNOW THAT THEY ARE AVAILABLE HERE BUT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY ARE GENERATED EACH MONTH.

you can get the monthly codes loads of ways here is some examples:
1.the easy way --- through the net
2.you can read your card and get them(you need an au card for this)
3.you can use a season interface (this is what i use) a season interface connects to your digital box and to your pc and with the correct software it will read all the c codes sent to your card.
to read your card you must have an AU card as the key gets updated each month.
to be honest if you just have a gold card and no programmer it is impossable (i think) you will just have to wait for it to be uploaded.
which is normally when the cards switch off
