Ive had this idea for a little while but decided to save it for my 100th post.
I assume that we will all be watching a lot of international football matches this weekend.
Just take note of how many referees make unbelievably poor decisions, and I bet there are nowhere near as many as any weekend in the premiership.
I have heard a few referees saying that their controversial decisions are what people talk about in the pub or at work, and thats what makes the Premiership so watchable.
WHO WANTS MORE AND MORE PEOPLE TO WATCH FOOTBALL ON TV?
WHO PAYS THE FA AND THEREFORE THE REFEREES?
My theory is that the referees are told to give/not give penalties
Allow/disallow goals.
Send off/dont send off players
But in tight games try to ensure that Man utd, Arsenal and now Chelsea win
Just to be controversial
