RedHot TV hack?

Seems to be conflicting information here about whether it's possible to generate and enter a code for RedHot as it is for XtraView.

So, is it possible? Is there a keygen and/or regularly posted hash?

RedHot uses the same system as Xtraview. Like Xtraview the tables change daily and the technique to calculate the pin changes weekly (Sunday I think).

I'm not aware of any working keygen for RedHot or Xtraview (the keygen posted here doesn't work with the technique used this week)

i dont think theres any big deal other than somebody saw a weakness in its system and between a few ITK people they managed to calculate how the system works and then how to get around it. it was great to read the progress as they worked it out but now theyve done it it theyve obviously moved on.
its quite a straightforward system really but you need to read information from a pc card (?) that 99% of us aint got.

and also, the system is the same for red hot but is obviously using a different table.

the keygen was a basic thing knocked together when the numbers started with 2 but now theyve gone to 3 it doesnt work.

Is it the fuss over hacking it that puzzles you, or the people who keep posting each day "can I have todays codes for redhot" or similar!

Even though I now could, I don't bother to watch RH/XV (watched xv for about 30 mins a few weeks ago) - get my true porn elsewhere

Easy way around it.. buy a tv card... input the pids.. plug your telly into tv out on video card and bobs your uncle.. you have soft porn.. advantage.. 1 you dont need a box on your telly.. 2 saves pissing about with codes everyday...

disadvantage.. dirty cable running down the stair case...

advantages outdo disadvantages

Using www.progdvb.com , I entered the Audio + Video PID codes for Red Hot, worked fine

Above program works fine on PCI cards for Terrestrial DigiTV and most SatTV PCI cards too

PID Codes for Red Hot using ProgDVB are

Audio PID= 7071
Video PID= 7070

If i scan for PID numbers using www.progdvb.com and the PID scanner plugin though, nothing appears, am I doing it right????

Any help on how to scan for PID's would be very appreciated, even if its a private message to me, or an email to [email protected]

USB version connected to laptop here. Changing PIDs works fine.

strange realy.......as you say a lot of fuss about nothing....when you look at multi & xxl
you realise that uk tv sort of wades around in the mire of restriction that makes the uk..........er well the uk !!
when you think about it though look at all the fun we'd have missed since Filmnet in the 80's (god was that realy almost 20 years ago) if we hadn't had these wonderful encryption
methods to crack !

i thought the forums were about helping each other if and when we could. the guys who are doing this are great like to thank them all.i dont have a tv card .too many peeps in the house to view (redhot).tried to work it out manually but to no avail but i still like to see the codes working so i then can view if i get the oppertunity
so please dont knock us all i will help when i can and have done so through pms to people

yes the codes evernight work..i havnt had any troubles with them so far..for both xtra view and for red hot..great for those who are less fortunate than others who carnt afford the cable or multi sat systems..thanks every one

It was more aimed at those that post at 11pm asking for redhot codes, often posting brief impatient messages - expecting codes to be there on the dot as if its an obligation to post. Didn't think I came across as knocking everyone.
