iPhone red screen

hi, i have just been given a 3gs, but it has a red screen. i have tried restoring it & opening it to check the connections, all seems ok there.
anybody got any ideas what it could be. was looking for a quick turnaround with this, but not hopeful.
anybody got any idea what it would be worth with the red screen ?
btw it is red everything, even the camera.

cheers biffo, its gettin to be red death everything now. red ring of death on the 360. red screen of death on the iphone. be careful of everything red, or am i just paranoid.
looks like i'll ave to use it for spares.

looks like it either could be water damage or a fooked screen that needs replacing

when i took a photo the pics looked red on the phone but perfect on the pc. so changed the screen with 1 that had a dodgy camera. now i have a 3gs with a red screen & no camera, it gets worse.
at least i have 1 good 1.

yeah just the screen, took the whole face off another dodgy 3gs & swapped them. 5 minute job.
but downside is i now have a 3gs with a red screen, no camera & doesnt start up everytime.
still, i suppose i could use the digitizer to repair my daughters phone for the 3rd time.
