Hi.
The Official Site Is OK.
I Have Just Had A look, Give it A Try Again. Power Out Put 12v 0.6A
was the Power Supply Unit You Tried For The F5s.

Hi, yes had a go, power supply used 12v 1.0A also tried 12v 2a same as the one supplied, having looked at the lcd display closer there is a very very dim lit number 8 displayed, tried to
flash with Null Modem cable but all i keep getting is "set stb memory error", tried all the different versions of firmware original and clone etc. the same hardware setup works fine for flashing dreambox 500 as ive just tried!

any ideas? greatly appreciated

Hi.
Was The Power Supply From Another F5s Because The Out Put Could Be Diffrent.
This Is recovery tool with the correct software.
Its the same file for F3s & F5s

Cannot Rember Where A Found This File, But Thought it Might Be Useful.
Have You Tried looking The Internet For Any Other Solutions.

Hi r7ust, thanks for the replies :) yes tried for days searching for a solution to this error before posting here, ive tried about 4 different 12v power supplies ranging from 0.6A to 3A all tested with volt meter, still get the same error message?
i have even tried changing comport values in control panel as well as the software, tried putting the power back in at different times, but still the same error "set stb memory error", as i said setup works flashing other boxes, but not this so it may not be an easy fix!

Thanks again for your effort, i will post back if i get this resolved!

Hi MSN.
I Just Switched My Box Of At The Wall & It Shows Dim & Number 8.
Going By This I Would Say That It Has To Be A Power Issue.
Either With The Mains Adapter or In The Box Itself.

Mine is also not working
