receiver 500S not finding channels

Hello,

I've a DM 500S for 4 or 5 years, and lately I am not able to watch or synchronize the channels of the Astra 19.2 satellite (or other channels). I've updated the satellites.xml but with no success on further searches.

I've another receiver that I've connected and is able find a big amount of channels, so it is not from the antenna or from the LNB. The signal quality and strength (SNR and AGC) from the dreambox menu of the transponders from the 19.2 sat are ok.

Any suggestions of what could be nok?

Are you using a motorised dish or multi lnb setup? Do your tuner settings match?

normally I use a multi LNB setup, but for testing, I've connected the receiver directly to the LNB and it does not work.

Perhaps your tuner is kaput on box 1 my friend since box 2 seems to be doing better in terms of picking up channels.

The good thing with the 500 is if it gives in is that for 22 quid GB you can get a new one.
