installed Rats updater on my DM800 box BUT when I go to plugins and click om the updater I get the error ..../user/script/rat_update.sh: 19: cannot create /dev/null: permission denied? why....anyone got any info on how to use this, Please

I have the same problem but can't completely remove the plugin. When I try removing it from the Software management plugin or TSPanel, the Rats plugin is still in the plugins menu but I get the permission denied error when trying to run it.
How can I remove the plugin completely from the plugins menu and the filesystem so I can attempt a fresh and complete reinstall? I'm using OpenPL 2.1 from dreamoem and the standalone rats channel plugin.

if youre getting permission denied error, FTP into the receiver, and youll find the rats updater script in usr/scripts, change its CHMOD properties to 775 and it should then run for you. to manually remove the plugin, FTP to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/systemplugins and remove the entire ratsupdater folder
