QuickHEX III------
version 4.4.5-----
(c) bigtimothy----
25/02/02----------
------------------

--------
features
--------

hex code generator - generates:

Kevlar v1.66
Omega v1.80
Threat v4.03 (Non-Pace)
Threat v4.03b (Pace)
Keylog v6.2h
Keylog v6.2h with key protection disabled
Special K v1.0.1.4

ability to edit keys 00/08 to 07/0F - PBM - Date - PPUA - UA (pin not implemented as yet, no code i use supports it)
PBM editor for selecting each individual bit - or type in your PBM and see what you get!
scratchpad for storing any keys / stuff you may want on hand
hex code readme window for official hex release notes
secanix remote code generator
HexCompare(tm) - compare 2 hex codes
UA Converter - converts UA between hex and decimal
HEXInfo(tm) - displays code author, release date, RU, AU, PPV, special features (ECM?).

--------------------------
stuff you may need to know
--------------------------

SAVE KEYS
---------

the save keys button stores keys 01/09 to 07/0F, PBM, UA and PPUA in the registry; so when you create further hex codes with the application, these keys are automatically used (unless you modify the text boxes again)
key 00/08 is NOT saved, as this sometimes contains hex specific data.

DELETE KEYS
-----------

delete keys removes keys you may have saved to the registry using SAVE KEYS
the keys used from then on will be whatever was in the eeprom when i added the hex to the program

RESET KEYS
----------

reset keys discards any changes from the keys you have made since you last saved them (if you've never saved them then they go back to whatever was in the eeprom)

------------
instructions
------------

1. select your required hex code
2. if the code is auto updating then you might want to fill in 01/09 and 02/0A with your primary and/or secondary management keys
3. if you are using an auto-update code, then you may want to fill in your UA (stands for Unique.Address, aka Serial #)- this has been a recent factor in the current ecm's as it seems they are checking it. your serial number can be found on the back of your OSC, and is in this format..

0 41.000.111.222 00
x xx.XXX.XXX.XXX xx

in this example your serial number would be 000111222.

4. you may want to modify your channel line up, if so click Tools-->Edit PBM. from here you can select/de-select any channels. (defaults to all channels)
5. hit eeprom and save the eeprom somewhere
6. hit pic and save the pic somewhere
7. fire up your programmer software and proceed to program the files you saved
8. enjoy !

NOTE: this version contains feb & march keys so you shouldn't need to modify anything to get yourself up and running with a remote update code.

NOTE: key routines now updated, you can paste a key into the key boxes either with or without spaces.

---------------
version history
---------------

-----------------------
25/02/02 - v4.4.5 final - official final release
-----------------------
