is it possible to play ps2 games online on the ps3

as i play pro evo 6 alot online and dont want to keep changing consoles

I'm pretty sure the PS2 games can't be played online - yet.

'm not sure whether this is something that will be brought in for the PS2 games but no harm in trying i guess!

I can't play it online until now, I've tried searching and still no results, however there are some other online games that are similar to mine.
