PS2 Flip TOP with Swap Magic

Calling all Swap Magic user im currently looking to get my PS2 upgraded chipped or Swap Magic ,the question is if i purchase a PS2 Flip TOP lid and use with Swap Magic disc as well do I still have to use the PS2 Slide Tool to boot up backup games? or is it just a straight cd swop with no tweaks?

no mate no slide tool involved just the disc just load the swap magic disc when it comes up on the screen in green load programme take out the disc put in your back up disc press x on remote and enjoy

Okay thanks Is this the best option to go for if i dont get the chip option as ive heard there memory card loaders out all so?

Do the latest PS2 titles all work with swap magic which is the latest version out?

Swap Magic is great mate, I've not found a game that it will not boot (I suppose there may be a few, but I've not found them yet), but if I were you I would hold out for the new memory card chip, that looks fantastic.

Don't pay any more than about £15-£10 for your swap magic including delivery.

Any recomendations on where to pick up a swap magic and PS2 Flip TOP lid combo cant see the both being under £20 ?

Any idea if the 3.6 version swap magic works with the new realease like for example -

Hi again not sure if this will help but the PS2 version is the SCPH-39003 will this still work with the PS2 Flip TOP (V4-7) as theres only two different version to chose from and my SCPH-39003 seems to be in between wouldnt that make mine V3 if mines a SCPH-39003.
