prob;lem with remote control

I have a VU + solo2 clone. If restarting the box, remote control take some time working normally but after a while it starts to react only after several repeated pressure on the button. Is this because clone or image. image installed is bh 2.0.7. I hope someone here has the same experience and perhaps a solution to this problem.

I assume you've checked/changed the batteries? The clone remotes are very fussy in terms of the batteries I've found and need new alkaline batteries, no zinc el-cheapos.

Is your solo2 remote a bit laggy/unresponsive?

I found my remote was at times unresponsive compared to my old duo, thought i had a dodgy remote.
It became that bad I was going to send back to supplier stating remote faulty.

Thought prior to this I would try my remote from duo. this initially did not work as the duo is on a different channel.
I changed mode on STB to same as duo and duo remote worked fine.
Updated Solo2 remote to mode 1 and now remote works perfect no lagging etc

The default is mode 2 on a solo2
To change on STB it is under menu>system settings

MODE 1 : SOLO/DUO
MODE 2: UNO /Solo2
MODE 3 and 4 : reserved for future models

To update the remote itself

press and hols 2 and 7 for three seconds untill the led turns red
press help
press 0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004
this will then allow you to use your selected vu+ model

after all,
I noticed that the up/down arrow keys are laggy, other are almost fine

does this normal
