Hey guys

I reported a domestic incident to 999 which quickly defused while I was on the phone.

Now the police are hounding me and the other party involved for a welfare check but we don't want anything to do with them.

Where do we stand?

Cheers

"No court order is required for the police to conduct a welfare check. Essentially, as long as they have reasonable grounds to believe that an inhabitant in a residence in endangered, they can legally enter the premises."
That's just a snippet taken from the thelawdictionary.org

Just let them see to their satisfaction that all is well and that should be the end of the matter. Of course if you have murdered your partner and still have her body at home, don't let them in

Thanks pal

I'm thinking the same thing.
I'll just go into the station to save them wasting their time and mine.

Cheers
