    I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I have just started a mass renovation of my house and have moved into rented accommodation for approximately 3-4 months.

I'm currently in contract with Plusnet Fibre and phoned them yesterday to see if they could do a switch from my house to the rented house and the agent advised that if would cost me £65 to transfer and then £65 to transfer back once the house is ready. I thought that was a bit of a blow but can't really live without as I have 3 boys eagerly looking at me with tablets in hand and an Xbox so was ready to switch over.

The agent was about to start the process and then told me that the previous tenants have cancelled their telephone line with TalkTalk which doesnt come off til 13th May only after which they can re-activate and get the ball rolling for a switch.

Sorry about the long intro but can someone advise what I could do or if there's any options available to me?

Pick your self up one of these in link below and then pick up a open network wifi dongle, register with giff gaff for a free pay as you go sim,For £15 a month you have unlimited mobile broadband and its 4G and so is the router and that is the best portable setup you can get,The router has its own password so is secure,I use this system on all my customers using caravans for satellite tv and works just fine

    Thanks Lescantle,

That setup looks perfect. I knew someone would save me from my boys jumping me. lol

Just re the Giff Gaff pay as you go sim, it say £15 for 5gb and £20 for always on*
Is this what you were referring to...?

Also, any recommendations on a open network dongle?

It was £15 last time i set it up so it must have gone up to £20 but still great value for unlimited broadband mobile,Check on the bay for a dongle,Giff gaff is 02 so you could get an O2 dongle also check their network coverage in your area

£20 always on data, you get 6gb at full 4G speed then 6gb reduced speed

Not sure about this reduced speed business. (specifically 256kb). I think that's a bit too slow for my liking.
Cheapest I can find with unlimited data is Three at £27 so might opt for that.

Its not unlimited it is 30GB look at the hotspot data, the unlimited is only to be used on the mobile phone and even if you cast from the phone that will count as hotspot data

OK as long as you are aware it or it could have been costly
