hi,

Ive got a load of old xbox 1 games that are backups and was wondering can these be played on a 360 with the xtreme firmware update. I need to buy a Hard drive for my 360 and was wondering will that be all I need to play my old xbox 1 games on it.

cheers

nope, they need to be burnt again on dual layer discs with the ss.

hi,

Can you advise what is the SS and is there instructions for doing this.

cheers

ss stads for security sector, the guide on how to obtain them is in one of the tuts in another thread.

ookay dude get your self XBOX360 SS Merger 1.6 and dont forget 360 onlt accepts the DL discs is updated -

Step 1:

First extract the iso from the archive you downloaded to a folder with a lot of room.

Next open SS Merger 1.6 in the TOOLS menu select ISO SPLITTER.

Open the iso from the archive. Check Extract Video , Extract SS , Extract Game Partition.

Click the XBOX360 button, NOT the XBOX. I accidentally merged it as a XBOX360 game we have to split it as one.

Click SPLIT

When it gets done you should have 3 files video.iso , ss.bin, And the one that is most important here GAME.ISO

Close ISO SPLITTER
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 2:

Now in SS Merger choose the GAME.ISO and let SS Merger detect the iso type and MD5.

Next choose the SS file from the original archive

If SS Merger shows you two green boxes then the iso has been split correctly.

Next click the XBOX button. Here is where I started to mess up originally.

Click Merge and wait when it finishes you will have a fixed iso
