Hi guys can anyone help me?? I have recently got a laptop which can play DVD's and has tv out.
I have a Wharfdale tv which has scart connections. My problem is that I want to play the movies on my t.v from my lapper.
Can anyone tell me what sort of cable I need and how to get the display on???????

Also how can I tell if the display will work on my t.v from my laptop, should the t.v display exactly what it on the laptop i.e my desktop...

Any info would be great.
Thanks

hi m8 the tv out may be a svhs if it is u need a svhs cable
the input on the tv should also be svhs
u might have to set up on the laptop for tv out?

svideo lead from the laptop and a s-video scart converter. that how i did it

I went to the shop and got a little box of tricks but I have another problem now - the display on the t.v screen is black and white. The laptop display is fine. Would I be right in saying that the moniter display rate is too high for the tele??

If so how do I fix this???

Cheers

no m8 i think its the s-vdoe signal is in colour but the tv must be in s-video mode as well m8 (thats what i have to do)
