hi you guys..in brum, ie selly oak sides....know a bloke who does em for £30 with the modchip each...pm me and ill give you the details..

if you are realy good at soldering i would get a Matrix Infinity from http://www.modchip-store.co.uk/Matrix-Infinity-p-3.html and the fitting guild here http://www.modchip-store.co.uk/custo...rix/PAL-V5.jpg but there is alot of soldering and its fidally so if you think thats a bit to hard go for this it a solderless chip http://www.modchip-store.co.uk/Dms4-...ess-p-109.html and here is the fitting guild http://www.modchip-store.co.uk/custo...ation_v1.4.pdf its as easy as puting a disc in the drive hope this helps

hopes these helps the rest of you ,

if any1 knows a cheaper place to buy the chip might be worth posting

the easiest chip to install is the duo2 gt or se they can be purchased for around £15 they are very easy to install as long as you can solder.
there are no difficult solder connections to make, the most difficult is the bios chip connections 4 of them but the spaces between the legs of the bios chip are the biggest spaces of any chip in the ps2. all versions 1 thru 10 not slimline

here is a full guide for the duo2 se installation

Nah your right m8y, they've been copied and pasted and are abbreviated, just have a browse around _www.modchip-store.co.uk and you'll find what your looking for. :)

messiah 2 plus

does anybody know the lowdown on tis chip..does it do the same as a matrix infinity,,(looks very similar)

Anyone in Scotland need a modchip - PM me and I'll send you a link.

Thought about using hd advance m8? A bit of an outlay to start but all games are stored on your hard drive and you are not even damaging your backups.Better still your laser is only in use to activate the games menu from the hd discs - increasing the life on your ps2.

I would second that, its dead esy to istall a hard drive on a full size ps2, simply plug it into a network adapter, and fit it into the back of the ps and job done. plays foreign as well as uk games - no mod required

just a quick thanx from me to the guys who have posted likes, ive been looking to do this too and the links have helped me

Just a quick note. Not all PS2 games can be played from a HD Advance, check out their site for list of games that can be played and for the menu settings for each game.
DL games are also a problem playing form HD Advanced.
