Anybody had this?

Ive been told after 3 months of being in agony and popping pill after pill for this only to be told that the problem i have could be Plantar Fasciitis and not because i have MS but then its the same old story you got MS it must be that lol
anybody got any tips or tricks i can use to stop this while im waiting on physio?

I've had it for a while now , treatment seems to be special insoles and anti-inflamatorys,
I'm on my second pair first pair actually made it worse but was told to persevere for a month,
new pair help but dont know how long I'll need them , I've had it about a year but was only
diagnosed in april

Bloody hell have read it should only last for a max of a few months but ive already had it for about 4 but only really bad the last month
its not so bad once i get going but 1st thing in the morning its agony
I have looked at the insoles but have held out as off on holiday soon and the insole just wont look right in flip flops lol

I've been using these new insoles since May , I do feel like theres improvement but like I said I dont know
how long I'll need them,
I was ref by the doc to a foot specialist

will see what the physio says to me when i get the appointment and if im on holiday before then ill get quarterzone injections before i go but they only lasted about a week last time i had them

Started running last October, developed this after about a month, was in agony for about eight months could hardly walk. Tried everything painkillers, insoles nothing worked, finally went to physio had acupuncture and my heel massaged with a suction cup it worked almost immediately. Had six sessions pain totally disappeared, don't know weather it was the acupuncture or the massage but it worked a treat. Been pain free ever since

My wife has this problem and my Sister they both have to wear as mentioned previously in this post insoles in your shoes. My wife has had 2 lots of cortisone injections now but in my opinion seemed like a short term relief. They was both given exercises to do which helped and maybe it could help you. Please remember though don't over do these exercises though, until you have seen a physio as your symptoms/problem could be slightly different. At least its a start though. Plenty of rest as well in between should help. Good luck.
