hello peeps ive been offered the above box and wouldnt mind having a mess about with it im not with bt so would just be happy on getting the freeview do they broadcast any hd channels on there ? what would be the 1st thing id have to do with the box?is the modchip the way to go to run unsigned stuff?is this just for the bootloader?ive done alot of reading but still want to know some more so anyone on here have any of the modchips for sale as i dont have a programmer to do the chip.how close is it till the recording gets sorted on it ?also would it be possible to stream hd movies over to the box ??? many many thx

yes you will need a modchip to run anything that is not signed code.

To program a chip, you just need 4 wires and a printer port on your PC, schematic is on the t-hack site.

As for the rest, freeview works, but been tied up with other things to get back on to the project. I did get streaming from the internet working a bit, but needs more work..

i just picked up one of these bt vision boxes ,does any1 know where there at with them at the moment

also any1 know where i could get one of the modchips
