can anybody recommend a good pendrive for the box which will cope for the PVR - the cheaper the better

Thanks

I am using a shitty 1gb one i got free from sky about 4 years ago. You can buy a 16gb one for just over a tenner or buy a external hdd.

may be its just me but my 2.5samsung external hdd is not recognised by the PVR.
but my 3.5hdd works fine with external power

is a 2.5 a portable non powered one? (power over usb) if it is it may not be generating enough spin for the drive to spin fully whereas the 3.5 works through power

I've tried both 8Gb and 4Gb Sandisk Titanium pen drives. Both work. Pretty safe to say that higher capacity versions will also work.
