I need to buy a PCI (not PCI Express) graphics card for my daughters PC as she has just bought a couple of games that require a better card. I'm having trouble locating a suitable graphics card for PCI. The manual lists the requirements of the graphics card to be at least 128mb with support for Pixel Shader 2.0, it also lists various suitable models ATI Radeon 9500,9600,9800,x300,x60,x700,x800, etc NVidia Geforce fx5900,fx5950,6200,6500,6600,6800,7200, etc Intel Extreme GMA950,gmax3000,gmax3100

If anyone can point me in the right direction for a suitable card at a reasonable rate (I've looked on ebay) that would be great !

Only one I could find and it's £48.90! - Innovision GeForce FX5200 256MB DDR DVI VGA PCI Graphics Card - Ebuyer

Whilst not mentioned, it does support pixel shader 2.0 (according to a quick google).

The premium price is due this being an old tech - it's been replaced twice (3, if you count PCI-e 2.0 seperately to PCI-e 1.x)

[edit] Also found this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&sku=585033&is=REG&A=details&Q= based in the US but also available from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PNY-GeForce-8...0|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

your best off replacing the motherboard m8 tbh

pci cards even ran slightly slow in the Q2 days back in 99

i remember when they had desperate power supplies :)
