ok guys here we go

i have £300 to play with,a bit of a low budget I have to admit

my sister has ask me to upgrade her son pc

now her son like playing games from time to time and she know for the money he is not going to be alba to play games like call of duty with full setting

she has a crap monitor,keyboard,mouse..not looking good for the money :-(

i have made her aware of the fact that for the money she might have to keep some parts from her old pc ,like the monitor, etc

now the best i can come up with is

AMD Phenom II X4 850 3.3GHz Quad Core, 8GB DDR3 RAM, & ASUS Motherboard Bundle | eBay

Inno3D Nvidia Geforce 9500GT 1GB PC Graphics Video Card PCI-E DVI VGA HDMI | eBay

AOC 2236SWA 21.5 LCD Monitor - Black 4038989120491 | eBay

this lot works out about £300,can i do any better then this for money ?

cheers for any help with this

edit

just found a hard drive

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/500GB-SEA...ardDrives_RL&hash=item415fd4a380#ht_851wt_754

Pushes me a bit over the budget

just had a better look and it look like the motherboard has no ide Controllers which i was going to use her old hard drives, might have to look for a different motherboard

might have to drop the monitor so i can get a new hard drive

With a £300 budget you are going to have to compromise on either the CPU or the graphics.

You can get IDE to SATA converters for around £10. With the current prices of hard drives it's worth bearing in mind.

I'll get back to you with a couple of systems, when I'm on my lunch break.

i am going to use the old case and psu as the psu was replaced a few weeks a go with a new one
