pc image to watch on a tv

Chaps is there any way to watch a movie loaded from a pc image to a standard uk tv?.....the kids and I watch all our movies on the pc but gets a bit crowded in the office viewing on a 19" monitor.....especially when the kids invite all their m8's round.

Ferk! how do I check what gfx card I have in again?.......I should know this stuff .....I'v been away too long.

It's an Nvidia gfx card Geforce 4 MX 440 128mb

when you say: watch a movie loaded from a pc. do you mean watch a dvd movie or watch a video file you've downloaded from the internet.

in my haste to connect up the tv to the pc, got the wrong leads and blew the gfx card up!!

Sounds bad. as its a file from the net have you considered burning the file to a DVD then playing the DVD in your DVD player.
