Patching a Wii iso?

Is it possible to patch a wii iso and if so how? Been trying a few things (iso buster etc ) but can't make em work.. I need to patch Mario Karts as my chip is a bit naff!! All advice appreciated (other than change the chip LOL).

What chip is it? I got my m8's one working he's got a wiikey.

Just rung my m8 he says he thinks it's a wiinger, don't think they can be upgraded either.... booo..... where can i buy a wiikey?

I've never heard of a wiinger, sorry. I wouldn't know if it could be swapped for a wiikey.
