original xbox DVD drive, will it read dual layer

Anyone know if the Original xbox dvdrom reads dual layer disks ?

Yes, I'm certain that they all do. Though you probably need a burner that will change the bit-setting to dvd-rom.

Yes ............ all original games for the XBox console are put on DL discs to prevent people copying them ............... when 1st released and there were very few DL burners/discs etc .......... times have changed though

Thanks for the replies, I'm thinking about getting some DL Discs, 10 divx movies on 1 disc for xbmp, discs are still a little bit expensive though.
