Mate listen to the answers given. Connect to the box via null modem and serial adapter using dream up and flash the image. once you have done that the box should work. The fact that dcc doesn't connect is not relevant or is the no signal.

How will i know if its flashed if i cant tell if its comnnected if none of the tools detect the box

dream 13..3.3.9 /1 / 4 dont detect box ddc flash wizard nothing is flashing this box

the box has a blank screen with no signal flashing on my tv screen the box has gereen light on front dcc not connecting to box flash wizard same thing i think the box is dead

can anybody tell me if there is another way to jtag dm 500s without soldering to mother board :questionmark:

May I suggest you practice the use of a comma, before going on to a soldering iron.

What problems have you got with the jtag?

What OS are you using?
What software package are you using?
What is length of cable?
Any error codes?
