Menu-Plugins then green button ?
Not sure what they have in there these days.
You might give this a try:

opkg install http://feeds2.mynonpublic.com/5.3/dm800se/dm800se/kernel-module-r8712u_3.2-.1_dm800se.ipk
opkg install http://feeds2.mynonpublic.com/5.3/dm800se/all/firmware-rtl8712u_1.0-r0_all.ipk
But I don't know about what wifi type dongle you are talking about.
Above is for the dm800se clones which have internal wifi. I think those drivers are not in the OpenPLi feed.
I know above links are from OpenATV, but they also work on OpenPLi.
