[DM800SE] OPENPLI 2.1 freezes

I have a problem using a dreambox with openpli 2.1, it runs fine for a while than the sound continues and the picture freezes. Any thoughts.

Can you give us more info m8?

Does it happen on all channels or only premium ones?
Does it recover from the freeze or do you need to reboot?

Have you tried reflashing either a different image or the same one even to rule out a corrupt flash?

Nope did not reflash, did do the MD5 checksum however.

I have reflashed the box, no change. However today whole day the box did play. Yesterday after the frame freeze the fan apperently did not run. Looks like a heating problem, the fan should run I think when the heat is there.
Is this due a bad behaviour of the fan stand-by - power on cycle?

I had also faced the same problem with my dm but i used some tips may be it can help full for u also
i did
1. i reflashed the dm with service cable and clicked the recover bad sectors
2. reset factory default
3. updated the sat xml and scaned
now its working fine for me
