no its not m8, for linux youll need either the TM500/600 or 9100, or a dreambox

Thought it wasn't, just wondered why it was posted in the Linux section, I hope they don't buy it thinking its a Linux box when it is not.

id hang fire for a while longer digdude said there was going to be new technnomate linux boxes due out soon january i think it was

yep HD TM linux boxes are finally in testing stages, but, i have been told that theres some sort of problem with software, and untill this is resolved they wont release the receivers, i guess they learned the hard way from the release of the first 9100, while it is annoying for those waiting for them to be released, itll mean that when they finally do get released to the public, they will be (or should be) as stable as the 500/600
