hi guys nephew wants a new elite system and i have a couple of questions

1)Are all drives ie liteons soft modable or do the latest ones need soldering
2)what dates are to be avoided
3)Will game etc allow me to look at the date on the box and finally
4) if i get this bundle how much will game give trade in on the games Xbox 360 Elite 120GB+ Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2+ Forza 3 £199.99

XBOX360 Official 120GB HD - £33
XBOX360 Elite Boxed - £87
COD: MW2 - £29
Forza 3 - £14

So a total of £163 so Game will probably offer a bit more probs £165 - £168.

Game may allow you to look at the date depends on the person serving you.

Also there is a thread about saying the newer liteons were unflashable but not checked recently so unsure

cheers mate so im hoping to get a look at the date and about £40 -£50 for the 2 games so paying about £160ish for a brand new spanking console whoop whoop

Going by this I think if its after Aug 09 then you will have 1 of these drives, seems they cna be flashed its just harder to get the key

i would play safe
after the last ban i purchased 2 new boxes
one for live and one in case there comes a new reliable flash
one was from argos and one a arcade pack morrisons
1st one was a lift the pin job liteon drive and the other was from early feb 09 even tho it was brand new
