"NO SWEARING" in Adult Room

I would just like to ask why there is no swearing allowed in the adult room..

everytime i see or post a joke or comment that has swear words in, they are blanked out with stars...

i mean if you look in to the Adult Room and go that far to actually request the password to access it, surely you know what to expect..

So please stop blanking swear words out,
WE ARE GROWN UPS, WE CAN WORK IT OUT..

I can understand the need for moderation of certain videos,or images, but swear words....c'mon

so its ok to watch a video clip of say tourettes karaoke
(nothing against that posted video at all)
were you can hear him swearing, effing and blinding.

but the Adult Room mods deem it unfit for us to read it in text...

please help as im having a really hard time getting my head round this...

Yep, certain words are auto censored by the forum software. It would probably be quite a hassle to try and make the Adult room work differently to the rest of the forum.

Not if you encapsulate the filter code within a simple check..

(you get the idea)

Not that I go in there, but it does seem a valid point..

Although, I would prefer the sms auto-spell, so we could call people a 'ducking aunt' all day long lol
