New PC with flat screen

Anyone recently bought a system with a decent spec for about £1000 or know of any branded systems with printer that are on offer as my niece wants a new computer but the best value for money seems to be toys r us !
I am sure there must be other retailers that have a better spec for £1000

better value
or if u know somebody that will build a computer for u
make a nice one for that price

YOu could then pay the difference for a different kind of monitor and buy a printer and still have change out of £1K
