filesonic works fine for me, use 'mipony' as my download manager.

tried the new market on my vega, just get no connection msg

Looks like it only works for android 2.2 and above........... typical as my lg optimus is only on 2.1

which optimus is it? surely there is a gingerbread custom rom over at XDA for it? probably some CM7 variant.

quite a few gingerbread 2.3 roms here, but its up to you if you happy with 2.1 then stick with it.
