I'm using a VM Superhub , its password protected and I'm using WPA2 ,
I just recently set up a home network so I could share files between my XP laptop and Windows 7 Desktop and also share my movie Partition on the Desktop with my DM800se and Wii , its all running fine,
thing is I never setup passwords for the sharing ,
I figured that as my Superhub was secure my home network would be secure and also I wanted Windows 7 to boot straight to Desktop without having to log in,

I just need to know if thats all ok or should I have used passwords , really not sure about this

You would only really need passwords on share folders if you had others on your network who you didn't want access to certain folders/partitions, the network encryption you have enabled should be fine
