net id on tv drive help!!!!!!

hi all
got a tv drive with paired card
glitched card with bod script(thanks to maker) ird bk all there i think
set freq in eng menue
blanked the 24c512
put attenuator on the box put feed to it
put in atmega with net id setter 1.7
plugged in box tried to goto eng menue and got green screen saying gardian needs to update firmware it will update when it finds network this may take 20mins
been on all day and no update
does anyone know how to fix this
or have a dump of 24c512 for 40973 wolves area

try taking the attenuator mate apart from that im not sure dont know much about them

cheers mate did try that but not allday
only about twenty mins without
but sumone has to of had this prob
just not keen on strippin it all down again to rewrte the ic to previous state only to have to then start all again

good luck mate, fancy getting one my self but don like the idea of paying vm anymore money then i do think ill wait till on turns up cheap some where lol

u dont have to blank the chip just program the atmega with the correct details and insert it when in the engineers menu wait about 20 mins then it will reset with the new netid and pin no blanking is nesasery.

ive removed and reproged this little chip about 7 times now
put it back in the box and net id stayed the same
40984 i cannot remove this net id
any ideas mate dont know wat else to try

useing a labtool48 to write this chip can u confirm that its the u1803 chip on the underside of the board that needs writin
as once wrote i have compared it with the dump u sent mate and all is still ok
cant work it out mate any help is much aprieciated mate

it might be because the box is looking for an update m8, {theres nothing wrong with your programer, "should read/write these chips easeily"}

have you tried blanking the chip then setting the netid with a fun/atmega ???

its the card that sets the netid m8, {connecting the cable feed might be causeing the problem} "try it without"

was hopeing you would have a look at this thread
at the moment the chip is blank ff ff ff
the net id in eng menue is 40984
wich is wat it came with
i tried atmeg net id setter but nowt happened
rewrote chip a couple of times only to get the same net id in the eng menue
never done net id set with a card b4 so dont know if im doin it right so input would be good on this dos and donts
i will try again later without cable feed with the card

now i have a new task
i cant get a card to work in this box
tried atmeg and mosc but only get 1-5 anyone have any idea why
