neogamma alternating between black and white and colou

Have used edoggs 4.2 method and each time neogamma is run it will alternate between black and white and colour
for example
Turn on wii and menu is in colour
Start neogamma and screen goes black and white (no green highlight bar)
Exit OS - main menu is in black and white

Start neogamma and screen is in colour (green highlight bar)
Exit OS and main menu returns to colour

This happens each time neogamma is run, regardless of having a disc in or not
Any ideas?

Wii was updated from 4.1 to 4.2 before hack was run

Have played around with region settings with no luck

i may be talking out my arse now but have you tried it on another tv m8, or are you using a older tv it could be to do with pal/ntsc or along them lines

Try forcing videomode to pal60, as marra said some ntsc games may be black and white on a older tv.

i dont think that your problem has any thing to do with the hack sounds like a connection problem between the wii and the computer
what happens if you insert a proper game and run it from the disk channel ?

I never thought to try it, was an older TV causing it, thanks Marra
