Need to break my phat 360 help

Yeah you read it rite, the problem is its sounds like its about to take off and not reading disk's all that good, i returned it to Game and the games played fine so they would'nt swap it.

So i need to break it, without taking it apart

give this a try m8

stick something small in the back of the 360 (so this will stop the 2 fans running )

every 8 minutes turn the console off and repeat again and again

with any luck the console will develop the RRD as the motherboard is to hot and cause a dry joint on the CPU chip ect

Just got 2 red lights on the left of the circle, its it cooked lol.

Just booted it back up and it's ok, needs more cooking me thinks ........(update) Just got the red lights again

This could take some time , it keeps booting back up, but overheats a few mins after

Sorted, i opened the tray and popped the rubber of the cog now it wont eject

Sorted it got swapped
