Absolute discharge - 6 months

If its an Absolute discharge then you are not guilty so why 6 months ? I don't get this one

By the sounds of it this is more than a wee brawl this is turning into quite a problem. 20 guys coming down for a fight is something the police should be made aware of immediately before someone gets severely beaten or more likely killed.

Its one thing having a punch up but 20 guys is more than a wee punch up.

Any chance of clarifying why the punch up started in the first place...? (On the Cricket pitch I mean...?)

You only get an absolute discharge if the jury finds you guilty. So yes, you are guilty, the only difference here is that the Judge doesnt see fit to punish you further.
