Need help with signal

hey all,

eventually got my cable installed. Plugged my trusty old dm500c and it was struggling to get about 10% of stations. mainly movies and some regular tv like bbc three and e4.

anyway, after removing the attenuator from the box on the inside wall. i now recieve every station but 1. BBC Three.

the signal on the movies that i had trouble with are still a little weak but they work.
sky classic for example SNR 87% and BER 107810

but BBC THREE is 65% and 1200000

Ive tried the argos booster with and without attenuators. it just seems to make the problem worse as tv stations either dont work or the signal is so bad theres nothing but blocks on screen and stuttering sound.

any1 got any ideas

sorted it, good old screwfix to the rescue. purchased these and sorted it

Labgear VHF/UHF Aerial Amp 1-Way 1-Input/ 1-Output - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys
and
VHF/UHF Variable Attenuator - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys

played about for a few minutes and it was sorted
